English: Lady's Pillar Just west of the summit of Hugh Seat. Erected to the memory of Sir Hugh de Morville by Lady Anne Clifford in 1664 hence the stone carved with that date on the west facing side.The pillar also bears the date when it was rebuilt 'FHL 1890'. It also has an OS bench mark. Sir Hugh de Morville of nearby Pendragon Castle was one of the four knights who murdered Thomas a Becket in 1170.
